Glass BottomThis classic pewter tankard has a special satin matte finish with a glass bottom. Two sets of double lines around the tankard are added for a decorative touch. Makes a great gift for your groomsmen.

The old story has it that during the pirate days, they would capture new crew members in the taverns by tossing a coin into a glass bottom tankard while the unsuspecting customer wasn't looking. As the customer would be taking his last few swigs of beer, the pirates would know which ones to kidnap as they could see the coin in the bottom of the tankard.
