The Neuschwanstein Castle (Schloss Neuschwanstein) is a 19th century Gothic Revival palace set on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau in the Southern area of Bavaria.
Since the king's death in 1886, the palace was opened to the public and since visited by millions of people worldwide. The Neuschwanstein Castle was the inspiration for the castle in Sleeping Beauty and has appeared in many television shows.
On the bottom area of this plate the name of the castle is spelled out in the German language. The combination of polished and antiqued pewter along with the highly detailed relief artwork make this plate an exceptional gift. A
matching plate stand is also available.
