Drinking Horns
Centuries ago, horns for drinking were used by many
different cultures. They were ready made drinking vessels that
worked well. They came in many different sizes and the mead or
ale was generally drank in one draught. Today, they are conversational
pieces and still used by many Renaissance enthusiasts.
Our drinking horns are handcrafted entirely in
Germany. They are made from a variety of sizes of steer horns,
highly polished and decorated in pewter. The interior of our
drinking horns are lacquer sealed and guaranteed food safe. The
pewter rims are poured by hand and then custom fitted for each
horn. The horns are then hand polished, inside and out and the
finishing touches are applied. These make a great gift for the
Renaissance enthusiast or avid beer horn collector.
